My 6¢: *Sigh* I really wanted to love this conditioner but I don’t 🙁 I’ve used it when my hair was freshly relaxed and I’ve used it when I was about 7 weeks post. I have to say it does a decent job of detangling (when my hair doesn’t have much new growth), but it still can’t match my Kenra.
The smell is delicious. I’m not kidding it smells like a dessert with bananas, coconut and caramel. Yummy! As far as the moisturizing properties go however, for me, it’s not moisturizing enough. The slip just isn’t there! It’s chock-full of decent ingredients and the concept is great (protein-free, paraben-free, silicone-free and organic) but unfortunately my 4b/c hair is not loving this one. If you have anything below 4a hair, I think this would be a great moisturizer for you to try.
For now I’ll be using it for pre-poos and cowashes but I won’t be replacing this one.
